Another Sewing Project
Here's the nursing shawl I made for my friend Kristi. I love this fabric! The whole thing took about 2 1/2 hours. I think I could make the next one in less time than that. This is something I'm thinking about making for some craft shows. They sell on etsy.com for about $25. What do you think?

i love the material - you're so talented!
My friend has one of these - she likes it, but unfortunately, her baby hates it.
Hers was a gfit from a friend, and its called - no lie - a "hooter hider." I mean, its right there, on the label.
She calls it her mommy cape.
The "Hooter Hiders" or "Bebe au Lait" website is where I originally got the idea for mine, when I was preggo with Elise. I copied it from the website. Later, my friend Leslie got a "real one" and I was surprised to find that it looked very much like mine.
Lori- I made one to use with Riker because I liked the ones online so much -- I copied mine from the Mommy Cover (similar to Hooter Hiders but also hook around the back). I think they are so much better than tossing over a blanket (and harder for older siblings to pull off!)
I think with the cool fabrics like you choose you might do well at a craft show -- since the real one are SOOOOO expensive!
